REGENERATIVE DESIGN OF THE HISTORIC SCOBEY COMPLEX | CLOSING THE LOOP

Location: San Antonio, TX

Project Type: Adaptive Reuse + New Construction

Project Description: The project explores various regenerative design opportunities through the revitalization of several warehouse buildings near downtown San Antonio. It was nominated and selected for the Dean’s Award for Best Masters Project, May of 2019.

REVIVE EL MERCADO | A VERTICAL FARM

Location: San Antonio, TX

Project Type: Adaptive Reuse + New Construction

Project Description: Challenged with the task of “Activating Houston Street”, I proposed the building of a vertical farm which would connect the newly built Frost Tower with the Historic Market Square. The vertical farm proposal would increase activity on Houston Street while addressing challenges promulgated by increased agricultural needs and decreased agricultural land.

GFW CENTER: REVIT

Location: San Antonio, TX

Project Type: New Construction

Project Description: I completed this project for my Revit course and Technical Studio in which we used Revit and progressed from schematic design to design development. The project brief entailed creating a living facility for foster children who had aged out of the foster care system.
